Mark brings a philosophy based on ethics and transparency which he believes strengthens trust among employees, customers and the community.

After completing his Electrical Engineering Diploma, Mark started his career with Plessey in 1989 as a Telecoms technician. In 1997, he left Plessey and co-founded BM Telecoms with branches in Cape Town and Gauteng.

Mark's vision and passion for service excellence helped build BM Telecoms to a significant player in the ICT sector and, in 2009, Mark sold BM Telecoms to Sizwe IT where he managed the cabling department. He later left Sizwe IT to start Bilionetworks.

Her focus has always been on securing quality products, which contributes to the successful completion of the projects and the smooth operation of the company.

Tanya strives to lead by example, empowering her team to consistently achieve results that drive the company’s success and operational excellence.

Tanya’s dedication is to support Bilionetworks' growth by delivering excellence through the procurement processes which aligns with the company’s vision and goals.

Her goal at Bilionetworks is to foster an environment that encourages leadership and innovation.

She skilfully heads up the operations ensuring successful delivery of projects. Mishquah is passionate about learning and is currently pursuing her MBA to remain abreast in the rapidly evolving business landscape. She is results driven and committed to fostering a culture of innovation and support within Bilionetworks, while simultaneously promoting growth and operational excellence.

Chad aims to maintain a culture of transparency and collaboration, empowering our team to make informed decisions that will drive the business forward.

Having completed his Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Management Accounting at the University of Stellenbosch, completed his articles with the South African Institution of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), Chad has further become a member of the Management Level of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

With a proven track record of delivering successful network infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, Shadley has implemented scalable solutions that has boosted operational efficiency. His expertise spans fibre optic networking, robust network infrastructure and renewable energy solutions such as solar (PV), positioning him as a versatile leader in technology-driven industries.

Shadley’s visionary leadership and collaborative approach empower cross-functional teams to exceed project expectations and drive business success. He possesses advanced technical proficiency in fibre optic network design, network management systems and solar PV installations, ensuring precision and scalability. Shadley is dedicated to delivering solutions that align with business Bilionetworks objectives and anticipate future needs and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Looking ahead, he remains committed to leveraging emerging technologies to drive further digital transformation and business growth.

As a detail-orientated, strategic thinker, Alicia is proficient in identifying profitable opportunities. Through effective planning, risk assessment and compliance management, she has grown Bilionetworks’ client portfolio by securing winning bids within the public sector.

After completing her Management Assistant Diploma in 2000, she has further achieved a Counselling Certificate, various short courses and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2024.

Being passionate about personal and career growth, Alicia is committed to analyzing market changes, expanding the Bilionetworks’ brand into new markets, growing relationships with existing clients and improving the customer’s experience, while achieving organizational success.

As the current People Manager, Lauren leads HR operations across various departments, ensuring the implementation of effective policies and practices that support organizational growth. With a strong focus on compliance, she excels in managing disciplinary procedures, nurturing employee development, and maintaining a culture of accountability. Lauren's expertise extends to handling complex issues, including absenteeism, performance management, and recruitment.

She is also involved in the company’s learnership programs, supporting youth employment initiatives and skill development. Her approach to HR emphasizes open communication, fairness, and the alignment of employee well-being with organizational goals. Lauren is skilled in managing both strategic HR functions and day-to-day operations, consistently striving to improve processes and support the company’s mission through effective human capital management.

With over 9 years of experience, he excels at guiding cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Konrad’s strong communication skills and collaborative approach have consistently nurtured alignment across teams, ensuring seamless execution and top-tier results.

His passion for driving innovation, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance has strengthened relationships with clients. Konrad has obtained his Red Seal as an electrician, studied project management at UCT, and completed numerous courses in fibre and network cabling. At Bilionetworks, Konrad’s goal is to continually develop and strengthen his teams, preparing them for the expanding opportunities in the telecom and renewable energy sectors, ensuring Bilionetworks remains at the forefront of innovation and industry excellence.

As a Buyer in the Procurement Department, he is responsible for sourcing high-quality products and services at competitive prices while maintaining a JIT system to ensure smooth and efficient operations. He is skilled at negotiating favorable deals, building strong supplier relationships, and mitigating procurement risks.

Alaric leverages ERP and EDI systems to maintain continuous supply and optimize the efficiency of the supply chain. With prior project management experience, he effectively balances supply and demand, turning business requirements into procurement strategies that reduce costs and meet stakeholder needs. By working closely with operations, Alaric supports Bilionetworks’ profitability and ensures that projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

In this role, he oversees the daily activities of the warehouse, including stock handling, equipment management, and coordination of receiving and dispatch operations. He plays an important role in supporting project teams by ensuring that the materials and resources they need are available when required. Praglathan also helps maintain inventory records and provides general support to keep warehouse operations running steadily. While his focus is on the practical day-to-day management of the warehouse, his contribution helps maintain a reliable and functional environment for the teams that rely on it, ensuring smooth operations across Bilionetworks.
